 The reason I started this site 9 years ago, was the screen saver Screen Antics: Johnny Castaway. It was one of the most popular screen savers available at that time. Watch a castaway Johnny perform amusing antics while he struggles for daily survival on a tiny island. It is still one of the best screen savers I ever came across, and still think it is. It was originally developed by Sierra somewhere around 1995, but has become abandonware. There is even a site dedictated to it. You can still download it right on this website, even an adapted version for Win XP. |

Finally, after many years, you are looking at the new version of screensavergallery.com, one of the largest and oldest (9 years now) screen saver archives on the internet.
A much more modern layout, easier navigation, write reviews, give ratings and much more.
Screen saver authors can now get a list of their own screen savers and modify them when needed. Screenshot upload is also available now. Authors that have their screensaver(s)
in the index, are advised to register and log in and claim ownership of their own resources.
At this time, 2200 screensavers are available, and counting.
Future updates will be cleaning dead links, make the directory structure cleaner, rss feeds, a newsletter and much more to come. |
